Gym miles Terms and conditions
This agreement outlines your obligations as a member of Gym miles and explains Gym miles's obligations to you. Once you have registered as a member of the Gym miles programme you will be agreeing to adhere to the following terms and conditions:
Shopping points & Cash Rewards
1. The Gym miles web site utilises embedded tracker links. To be eligible for cash rewards you must redeem your shopping points by clicking though directly from the Gym miles web site using the merchant link provided. Should you click through directly to a merchant site without going via the Gym miles site link, no shopping points will be redeemed and no cash rewards will be generated.
2. The number of points redeemed per £10 spend is displayed on each merchant link.
3. All offers of cash rewards in respect of transactions are made by Gym miles and not by the merchants. Gym miles receives commissions in respect of transactions completed via its web site, which, once received, provide for your cash rewards. Consequently,
a. All matters concerning the goods or services you have purchased remain completely

4. When a transaction is completed with a merchant, there may be a time period before that transaction is regarded a fully complete. For example, if there is a period during which goods or services can be returned for a refund, the sale may not be regarded as fully complete until this period has elapsed. Cash rewards will normally be credited to your cash rewards balance during the first week of the month following the month when a transaction has fully completed. Some Merchants can take up to 45 days from transaction completion to pay Gym miles and consequently, cash rewards may occasionally take longer to appear in your account balance than you might expect.
5. When a transaction is made via the Gym miles web site, tracking mechanisms are in place to be able to record the transaction and member who has made it. Whilst we endeavour to ensure all transactions are tracked and reported back to us accurately, we will not be held responsible for any errors beyond our control, which may occur in the tracking and validation process. Where an error does occur we will use our best endeavours to investigate and resolve it and ensure that we are able to pay you the correct amount for your transaction.
6. Should a transaction be reversed, cancelled or denied by a merchant or network you will not receive cash rewards for that transaction. Where for some reason the value of a transaction or commission amount is modified by a merchant the revised amount will become your entitlement. If a member believes the declined transaction has been reported by the merchant incorrectly they can raise an enquiry with Gym miles and we will endeavour to resolve the matter.

7. Merchants are listed on the Gym miles site as giving either a shopping points redemption value or a fixed amount of cash rewards, for each confirmed, completed transaction. Under no circumstances does this form a guarantee that you will receive any monetary amount as a result of your transaction.

You automatically receive shopping points every time you visit your gym. You can view how many shopping points you have earned in your account page.

You can only redeem your shopping points by purchasing an item from our Gym Miles shopping points partners. For each shopping point that you redeem you will earn 1 penny.
All points redeemed will be credited to your cash rewards account.
One Gym mile is worth 50 shopping points and one shopping points is worth 1 penny when redeemed as a cash reward. You can claim a cash reward each time you achieve the following redemption levels.
Redemption Levels:
2500 = £25.00 cash reward
5000 = £50.00 cash reward
7500 = £75.00 cash reward
5000 = £50.00 cash reward

*note there is a 5% handling fee applied to all cash reward claims.
8. Although we endeavour to ensure that the shopping points redemption value or fixed amount quoted for each merchant is accurate, we cannot guarantee that the quoted rate at the time of your transaction will be the actual rate paid by the merchant to Gym miles.
Payment Reporting and Schedule

10. There is a £1 monthly member fee which is deducted from your cash rewards account automatically . This fee is only debited when you begin to generate cash rewards. The fee is taken from your cash rewards balance only so there is no direct cost to you.

Member Account Validity and Termination

14.1. You must be resident in the United Kingdom.
14.2. You must only have a single member account at Gym miles and that account must only be used for transactions personal to you. You may not use your Gym miles account for purchases made on behalf of other people.
14.3. Your account has not been, or is not associated or involved with any form of activity we consider to be abusive, fraudulent or otherwise damaging to the business in which we are engaged.
14.4. You and your account must not have been involved with spamming or any other activity such that you have caused Gym miles links to be published external to the Gym miles site for financial gain.

14.5. We have not otherwise determined that your account is invalid.
We may at our absolute discretion, summarily terminate your account where we reasonably suspect that your account is not in good standing or if you have engaged in any activity that we believe to be offensive or abusive to our staff or other members of the Gym miles rewards programme.

Dormant Accounts
15. We conduct regular reviews of all Gym miles accounts. Where an account appears to be in our opinion inactive for more than 6 months we will attempt to contact you and may, at our sole discretion, terminate the account by issuing you with 30 days notice. Accrued earnings will be forfeit.

Modification of Terms and Conditions
16. We may modify any of the terms and conditions contained in this Agreement at any time and at our sole discretion, by posting a revised agreement on the Gym miles web site (http://www.Gym miles.net/terms and conditions/).
